Who’s Charlie and why Audrey?

Charlie:
* twenty-something
* wife/daughter/sister/sister-in-law/aunty/cousin/friend
* currently unemployed
* interested in almost anything
* trying to enjoy each day to the hilt

Audrey:
* forever young
* mother/wife/daughter/sister/friend
* hardworking
* inspiring
* accepted life unconditionally

Ambition:
1 year with ‘Audrey’. Or more so, the idea of Audrey. The idea of class in general. Maybe for you it’s Princess Grace or perhaps Gregory Peck. Anyone who has given us the idea that poise and charm can be attainable. I have picked Audrey, as she has been my go-to girl since I was 12. Now if I flip those numbers around: I am 21, unemployed, and trying to figure out just what to do with myself. I’ve decided why not take 1 year out, to live fully. To actually start something and finish it. To journal- and see if anyone’s interested. If not, at least I have something to look back on. The only failure will be giving up (and perhaps my bad grammer grammar). The success… we will just have to see.

Disclaimer:
This blog will be written with utmost respect. Perhaps Audrey would’ve detested the idea of some twenty-something girl deciding to take a year out with an ‘imaginary-her’. As I’m sure some of the Audrey-obsessed will be. After all, how dare I choose to know what Audrey would do in the day-to-day issues of 2010. So please note, though I say myself and Audrey for a year, by ‘Audrey’ I mean ‘_________’ — you know.. ‘elegance’, ‘kindness’, ‘charm’, ‘determination’, ‘hope’ etc. The attributes she embodied and displayed to the public, just by being her. I didn’t know Audrey, nor do I choose to imagine she was perfect in every way. Any ideas, theories, decisions said are from my own portrayal of her character and principles.
