The Essential List for everyone
who loves everything
…that none of us actually need.
Being the obsessive want-er of all things unnecessary, luxurious and completely wonderful, I decided I should make a sort of wish-list. No no… I’m not asking you to buy me these things… come on, we just met! I would just like to write this, as a sort of go-to guide for when you have that bit of extra cash and you’re not sure what you want to treat yourself to (Okay so that has not happened to me since I was 9). Or perhaps when a friends birthday is coming up and you’re stuck with what to buy. Or when we all become best friends through ‘Audrey’ and begin mailing ridiculous gifts across the globe…. woo! Just kidding.
Though I’m a sucker for photographs… if I add a photo to each item- this will be one huge page. That will not do. I will however add links to where you can get these items. I’ll try and find the best price online… or at least well-known pages, so you can at least know what the product is. Even though I’m tempted, I think I’ll stay away from descriptions as well. Anyone who has read anything from me, knows I have trouble describing things at a minimum. haha.
Annnnyway. Please let me know if you can think of anything ‘Audreyesque’ to add to the list. I will be updating the dear list, anytime I find something new that I know we will all desperately need want. Enjoy!
The List:
1. Lindt Chocolate (my favourite is the Lindt Lindor Chocolate Milk- Irresistibly Smooth… aka the red one.)
2. Tone Tahitian Vanilla and Orchid Body Wash (my cousin got me this from America… I love it!)
3. 101 Things to do Before You Diet- Mimi Spencer (I flipped through this when I was in Borders and wanted it so bad!)
4. Smooth Legs- Body Hair Exfoliator Remover (I have sensitive skin and bought these one time and loved them- haven’t been able to find them again.)
5. Yankee Candle- Christmas Cookie or Yankee Peach (Anything from this company is incredible and just goes to show that America has the best smelling things from shampoo and lotion to candles and laundry powder)
6. Roman Holiday on DVD (anyone who is yet to meet Audrey should make this their first movie to watch of her. Especially when this was her first big movie to make. You will fall in love with her… I promise).
7. How to Be Lovely: The Audrey Hepburn Way of Life (I’m yet to read this, however from what I could flick through on Amazon, it looks like a sweet book… and something that would really help my being ‘Audrey’ for a year).
8. Eyebrow Stencil Au#1 (okay this is weird, but it’s a stencil/powder set things to do your eyebrows like Audrey, frankly I love her eyebrows and would love this!)
9. Victoria Secret Pyjamas (every girl needs a set of luxurious pajamas and also a set of fresh pj’s).
10. Alvy Suedette Pumps- Forever 21 (Cheap American store. In my opinion- heels get ruined quick… no need to pay too much for them, plus I love black pumps).
11. Serendipity 3 Lampshade Mug ( I may never be able to go to the cafe, but can I have a mug?)
12. Serendipity 3 Frrrozen Hot Chocolate Mix (ditto)
13. 1080 Recipes- Simone and Inés Ortega (apparently the cookbook to buy, for Spanish cooking… me likey)
I’m yet to tell friends or family about this blog. Perhaps I’ll mention it around Christmas time. Then I’ll point them to this list. hehe. (Okay I never say ‘hehe’ but some sort of sneaky snicker needed to be written in). Mwahaha!
